Verneukpan gets a Solahart
With over 40 dealers across South Africa, Solahart prides itself in being able to bring a Solahart to wherever you are.
Our latest installation reached the vast and barren open spaces of Verneukpan. André Steytler, Solahart's distributor in Upington, replaced Louis and Anicce Salzmann's existing solar geyser with a Solahart system.
"We had another solar geyser, but we experienced quite a bit of trouble with it and decided to return it to the supplier," said Louis Salzmann of Verneukpan Boerdery in an email.

The Salzmanns live completely off the grid. Not only do they rely on
a solar water heater for hot water, they also have solar panels that
are connected to a battery for electricity.
"Solahart is very proud to contribute our premium product to a green home," said Steytler.
Fashion goes green
Most people feel so overwhelmed by global warming that they end up doing nothing at all to reduce their carbon footprint. Going completely green all at once is not always economically viable, and a lot of people are still afraid of being labelled bunny huggers when they start making environmentally responsible choices.
What a lot of people don't realise is that a combination of small lifestyle changes can make a huge difference to the environment. With the sun's warm fingers caressing the treetops, what better way to go green than with your summer wardrobe?
Planet Green recently published an article on how to make more environmentally responsible choices when purchasing clothing.
One of the tips they offer is buying clothes produced locally to reduce carbon emissions.
